Go Negosyo launches Kapatid Angat Lahat program; awards 10 inspiring MSMEs

As another measure to bounce back from the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic, nonprofit organization Go Negosyo launched the Kapatid Angat Lahat program, a public-private initiative that seeks inclusive economic growth through the development of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

MSME Summit 2022

The program was launched during the MSME Summit 2022 at the Manila Hotel on Friday, August 26, in celebration of the National MSME month.

The Kapatid Angat Lahat program is set to pioneer a one-stop-shop platform for MSMEs that will pool business opportunities and provide the necessary information and linkages to launch and operate MSM businesses successfully.

The services include guidance on legal business registration and operational requirements, formalizing informal businesses, financial capital support options, micro-loans, more robust market access, and business mentorship from ideation to sustainability.

According to Go Negosyo, the MSME Summit 2022 was designed to foster strategic dialogue where different people from various industries can exchange ideas and insights in establishing pandemic-proof strategies for post-Covid business recovery and cultivate entrepreneurship through mentorship, money, and market to ensure an enabling environment for the recovery of MSMEs in particular and the business community in general.

This year's summit was held in cooperation with the US Embassy and the Department of Trade and Trade and Industry (DTI). The theme is "Ensuring an Enabling Recovery Environment for the MSMEs."

"As we acknowledge the resiliency of our MSMEs during the pandemic, the summit also aims to enhance the programs and policy design capacity of the public sector for the MSMEs and emphasize the importance of digitalization," Go Negosyo said.
