Coca-Cola PH confirms suspension of some plants' operations

Coca-Coila Beverages Philippines Inc. (CCBPI) confirmed that the supply shortage of Bottler’s Grade sugar has affected the capability of some of the company's bottling plants to continue producing some products.

"We are doing everything we can to minimize supply disruption and the impact of supply shortage to our bottling operations. We are also continuing to work with the government and the broader sugar industry sector to arrive at a sustainable solution for the benefit of the small retailers who also rely on product’s availability for their livelihoods," CCBPI said in a statement.

Meantime, the beverage company expressed its appreciation to their customers who remain loyal to Coca-Cola products for being patient, as they prepare to once again serve full line-up of beverages.

CCBPI said it will be releasing statements as they continue monitoring the developments connected with the sugar shortage. "We will ensure that we will be able to ensure that we will continue pushing forward for CCBPI's People First Commitment," the statement concluded.
