CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – A man and his wife survived an ambush while their lone companion in an SUV was wounded early Thursday, Aug. 25, along JASA road, Brgy. San Jose in this city.
Police identified the couple as Lenin Salas and wife Jenny Panaligan who were both unhurt, while their companion, Mark John Paul Garcia, 30, a resident of Paralaya, Sto. Rosario, Mexico, Pampanga was hit.
The couple was on its way home when upon reaching the road leading to Mexico town, the suspects who were riding in tandem on a motorcycle, suddenly appeared from behind and fired at them.
Mark John was hit on the left quadrant. The suspects fled going in the west direction.
The couple drove Mark John to Jose B. Lingad hospital in Brgy, San Carlos, Mexico.
