Mayor Honey leads groundbreaking rites for new Manila Boystown Complex building


Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna-Pangan led the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the administrative building of Manila Boystown Complex in Marikina on Tuesday, Aug. 23.

The four-story building with roof deck has an average floor area of 720 square meters.

It will also house a modernized office to be utilized by Boystown personnel.

There will also be a total of 19 bedroom spaces with toilets and bathrooms, and an evacuation center for its occupants.

Lacuna was joined by Vice Mayor Yul Servo Nieto and Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Assistant Secretary Engr. Antonio Molano Jr., DPWH NCR Regional Director Engr. Nomer Abel Canlas, and City Engineer Armand Andres.
