Dispatcher yields P217,000 shabu in Bacolod buy-bust

BACOLOD CITY – Police arrested a dispatcher and 32 grams of suspected shabu worth P217,600 were seized in a buy-bust operation in Purok Masanag 1, Barangay 26 here Wednesday, Aug. 24.

The suspect was identified as Sandy Orario, 49, of Barangay 26.

Police Lt. Joven Mogato, head of the City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU), said that Orario, a newly-identified individual in the illegal drugs trade, was placed under monitoring for two weeks.

He had been allegedly engaged in the illegal drugs trade for several months now, Mogato said.

Orario is detained at the Police Station 4 for the filing of drug charges.
