Moderate to heavy rains brought about by severe Tropical Storm (TS) Florita did not stop the Provincial Government of Bulacan (PGB) from holding its medical mission on Tuesday, Aug. 23, at Jacinto Ponce Elementary School in Barangay Tangos, Baliuag, Bulacan.
Governor Daniel R. Fernando said the beneficiaries in the village availed of the medical checkup, treatment, blood pressure and blood sugar testing, as well as height and weight check.
Free medicines and vitamins were also distributed as prescribed by the volunteer doctors during the activity.
Fernando urged Bulakenyos to take good care of their health.
