It's no secret that Iñigo Pascual is among main cast members of the upcoming American series "Monarch," but many Filipinos couldn't help but feel proud seeing Piolo Pascual's son's in its trailer.
He was even heard throwing some lines.
"We're just like any other super famous, over-privileged, always in the public eye, family," he said.
In the Fox series, Iñigo is Ace Grayson, a talented and sensitive 18-year-old adopted by Nicky (Anna Friel) and her husband (Adam Croasdell).
In an interview with Dra. Vicki Belo before, Iñigo mentioned that his character in the show is Filipino.
“In a way, I’m kind of representing the Philippines. I’m playing a Filipino character," he shared. "It just feels good to be able to do that, to be able to represent the Philippines and to be able to share my music through this project as well.”
Also part of the upcoming American musical drama television series, created by Melissa London Hilfers, are Susan Sarandon, Trace Adkins, Beth Ditto, Martha Higareda, and Joshua Sasse.
The series is set to premiere Sept. 11.
