Fire hits residential area in Sta. Mesa, Manila

A fire hit a residential area in Sta. Mesa, Manila on Sunday, Aug. 21, 2022.

According to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), the fire broke out along Valencia Street, Sta. Mesa, Manila at 10:16 p.m.

The fire reached second alarm at 10:20 a.m., and escalated to third alarm at 10:37 p.m.

It was declared under control at 11:50 p.m.

The BFP is still conducting an investigation to determine the origin and cause of the fire.

Fire investigators pegged the worth of damages at around â‚±500,000.
