3 dead in Taguig shooting 


Three people were killed by an unidentified suspect in Taguig on Aug. 21.

According to a report by the Taguig police’s Substation 1, the shooting incident happened at about 3:20 a.m. at a transient house in Block 5, Zone 1, Barangay Fort Bonifacio, Taguig.

The police identified the victims as Marie Angelica Belina, 25, overseas Filipino worker (OFW) and a resident of Barangay Pachoca, Calapan City, Mindoro; Mark Ian Desquitado, 35, Grab driver, and a resident of Blk 5 Zone 1; and Tashane Joshua Branzuela, 22, student, and a resident of Zone 1 Barangay Fort Bonifacio.

Branzuela was brought to the Taguig Pateros District Hospital but was declared dead on arrival at about 3:45 a.m. by an attending physician.

According to a witness, she was inside the transient house when she heard gunfire outside and upon checking, she saw the bodies of the victims slumped on the ground. Belina suffered gunshot wounds in her body that resulted in her death.

The suspect, who was identified as male, fled and is at large. Police are investigating the incident.
