ANGELES CITY, Pampanga – The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Region 3 (Central Luzon) dismantled three makeshift drug dens and seized shabu valued at P269,100 in Barangay Pampang here Friday, Aug. 19.
Thirteen suspected drug personalities were arrested in the anti-drug operations.
Arrested in the first drug den were Raymond Ombal, 28; Jake Abe, 26; Robert Cabrera, 20; Germe Billotes, 32; and Kim Santos, 21.
Seized from them were seven transparent sachets containing more or less 12 grams of suspected shabu.
In the second drug den, four persons were nabbed – Myla L. Parangat, Jomar L. Parangat, Dominick M. Bulda, and Ferdinand R. Evaristo. They yielded 15 grams of shabu and assorted drug paraphernalia.
Aurilio M. Pangilinan, 48; Roberto T. Garcia, 32; Marvin P. Crispolo, 36; and Orlando O. Poquiz, 34 were caught in the third drug den. Twelve grams of shabu and assorted drug paraphernalia were found in their possession.
The suspects and drug dens had been under surveillance for almost a month before they were taken down and apprehended.
Suspects are detained at the PDEA-Region 3 jail facility and cases for violation of Republic Act No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being prepared against them.
