EXO’s Xiumin to release first solo album 


K-pop boy band EXO’s Xiumin will be releasing his first solo album 10 years after his debut.

SM Entertainment announced that Xiumin, 32, will be dropping his first solo album at the end of September.

Xiumin will be the seventh member of EXO to release a solo album after Baekhyun, Chen, Suho, Lay, Kai, and D.O.

Previously, Xiumin sang the official soundtracks for the dramas “Falling for Challenge,” “Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo” and “Mr. Queen.”

Xiumin enlisted in the military in May 2019 and was discharged in December 2020. After his military service, Xiumin starred in the musical “Hadestown” last year.

On Aug. 20, Xiumin will participate at SMTown Live that will be held at Suwon World Cup Stadium in Suwon, South Korea.
