Jollibee opens flagship store in Times Square NYC

Filipino fast-food giant Jollibee’s flagship store in New York City's Times Square was officially opened on Thursday, Aug. 18.

In a Twitter post, Philippine Consul General Elmer Cato shared photos of Jollibee USA’s inauguration of its flagship store in Times Square in New York.

“This morning, @JollibeeUSA inaugurated its flagship store in Times Square in the heart of #NewYorkCity,” he wrote.

“It is the fourth Jollibee in the Big Apple and offers Chickenjoy—adjudged the best fried chicken in America—plus other items not available in its regular menu,” he added.

Jollibee’s Chickenjoy has been recently named as the "best fried chicken in America" by Eater.com, a global food website under Vox Media.
