OWWA Region 3 offers free transpo, swab test to arriving OFWs

The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) Regional Workers Office-3 has been offering free transportation, hotel stay, and RT-PCR swab testing to arriving overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) in Central Luzon.

In an advisory released on Wednesday, Aug 17. by the OWWA RWO3, OFWs will be also assisted in getting their jabs against the Covid-19 iif they wish, especially to those who has yet to complete full dosage of vaccination.

“For our OFWs who have not been fully vaccinated, we will accompany you to get vaccinated,” said OWWA RWO3 Regional Director Atty. Falconi V. Millar.

According to OWWA Region 3, all returning OFWs who will arrive at Clark International Airport, Subic Port and Port Capinpin will be accompanied to their quarantine facilities.

OWWA will provide transportation, transfer from airport to hotel and ensure that quarantine accommodation at the hotels is comfortable.

“OFWs will also assisted for RT-PCR swab testing, securing clearance from the Bureau of Quarantine, until check out or dispatching from the hotel,” Millar said. (Jun Marcos Tadios)
