Lacuna, a doctor, and DOH Officer-in-Charge Maria Rosario Vergeire simultaneously vaccinated the employees of the Supreme Court after their flag ceremony at the Supreme Court quadrangle.

Vergeire expressed her gratitude to the local government of Manila for its active participation in the vaccination efforts not only in the city of Manila but also in nearby cities and municipalities.

"Salamat po Mayor sa paninigurong protektado hindi lamang po bawat Manilenyo, kung hindi lahat po ng karatig-pook and especially yung mga opisina na umaasa sa ating gobyerno (Thank you Mayor for ensuring that not only every Manilenyo is protected, but all the neighboring areas and especially the offices that depend on our government),” Vergeire said.

The city government provided vaccines and vaccinators to the public and private sectors in Manila, with the Supreme Court justices, employees and their families, as one of the beneficiaries.

Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo thanked both the national and local governments in their efforts to vaccinate the eligible population.

"With the help of the national and local governments, we have extended our vaccination and booster drives to not just our employees alone, but to their families and household members as well," he added.

"PinasLakas" campaign aims to increase the number of Filipinos who have been given a COVID-19 booster shot.
