A total of 837 public school students from Quezon City’s second district were vaccinated against Covid-19 on Monday, Aug. 15, in preparation for the face-to-face classes, the city government said.
There were 310 students from Batasan Hills National High School, 408 from San Diego Elementary School, and 119 from Quezon City University who got inoculated in their respective campuses.
The vaccinees are aged seven and above.
Councilor Aly Medalla, Education Affairs Unit head Maricris Veloso, and Task Force Vax to Normal Action officer Dr. Malou Eleria led the inoculations in the three schools.
