Press Secretary Trixie Cruz-Angeles said Executive Secretary Vic Rodriguez did not have a hand in the controversial resolution to order 300,000 metric tons of sugar, and disclosed that it was even he who alerted President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. about the irregular order.

Meanwhile, the Department of Agriculture (DA) official who signed the resolution has already tendered his resignation, according to Angeles.
