DAGUPAN CITY—- The SM malls in Pangasinan inked a memorandum of agreement (MOA) with Philippine Investment Management (PHINMA)-University of Pangasinan (UPANG) on Monday, August 8, for academic partnership in terms of recruitment and job placement, internship program and learning session.
According to Kristine Joy Santiago, public relations manager of SM Supermalls-Pangasinan, PHINMA-UPANG will be responsible for supporting SM Supermalls in its recruitment and job placement activities.
PHINMA-UPANG officials had stated that students will have the advantage over the others when they face the real world.
Likewise the university is grateful that they have found an ally in making lives better, as one of the university’s missions.
PHINMA-UPANG is the first university in the province of Pangasinan to seal such a partnership with SM Supermalls.
The responsibilities of PHINMA-UPANG is to support the Industry Partner in its recruitment and job placement activities and participate in the internship program of SM.
The responsibilities of SM are to follow established rules and processes of TSU in conducting their job, recruitment activities and career fair programs and allow students to participate in the Company’s internship program and ensure development of their knowledge and skills.
