PRC to conduct special licensure exam for professional teachers in Bangkok


Heads up, Overseas Filipino Workers in Bangkok! A special Licensure Exam for Professional Teachers (LEPT) will be conducted in Thailand on Sept. 25, 2022.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) confirmed this in an advisory issued on Tuesday, Aug. 9, adding that applications will only be open until Wednesday, Aug. 10.

“ examination fee of P2,200 shall be paid at the authorized payment channel under the Land Bank of the Philippines and Pay Maya. After complying with online processes and payment, the applicants may send their requirements documents via email at [email protected] for processing and evaluation,” said the Commission.

Meanwhile, required documents include a photocopy of Transcript of Records, photocopy of valid passport, and four passport-size pictures with complete name tag in white background.

The list of approved applicants, according to PRC, will be posted at the Commission’s website.

In the Philippines, on the other hand, a similar licensure exam will be held on the same day. It will be conducted in the following testing areas across the country: Metro Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cauayan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legaspi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, Bohol, Dumaguete, Calapan, Puerto Princesa, Boac, San Jose, Romblon, Kidapawan, Bayambang, and Bacolod City.
