United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken acknowledged the role being played by Filipino nurses in America, and described them as “angels” as he hailed them for their work ethic, and the way they performed at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic.
President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. sought the help of the US in helping with the country’s agriculture research and innovation.
He also noted that the upcoming opening of face-to-face classes in the country is expected to spur more economic activity.
Meanwhile, the southwestern monsoon, of “habagat”, is expected to bring more rains in Central and Southern Luzon, according to the state weather agency.
