Super Junior postpones Manila concert but will meet fans at venue today

K-pop boy band Super Junior decided to postpone their Manila concert scheduled on Aug. 6 but will be meeting fans at the venue. 

The decision was made after the father of Super Junior member Eunhyuk passed away on Aug. 5.

Members of Super Junior arrived in Manila on Aug. 5 without Eunhyuk due to his father’s death and Siwon, who tested positive for Covid-19 on Aug. 3. They were supposed to hold their “Super Show 9: Road in Manila” at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. 

Here is Label SJ’s statement: 

“Hello, this is Label SJ. We would like to give a notice regarding . 

“First of all, after many long discussions between the promoter and SUPER JUNIOR members, we both agreed that it will be difficult to properly hold as scheduled. 

“However, the members wanted to meet and greet the fans who came to MANILA to attend the concert, so we'd like to ask everyone with tickets to enter the concert venue on time. 

“We ask for your kind understanding, and detailed explanation on ticket and schedule will be announced soon. Thank you.”
