According to the resolution, the notices shall state the names and addresses of applicants, the dates of the applications and the actions taken thereon.

"The Election Officer (EO) shall serve a copy of the notice either personally or by registered mail or special delivery, to the local heads of representatives of registered political parties in the city/municipality," it added.

As of Thursday, Aug. 4, Comelec reported that 98.31 percent of the ERBs ave already completed their hearings which constitutes 1,630 out of the 1,658 ERBs.

Data from the poll body showed that only CAR (70.13 percent), Region VI (99.25 percent), and Region VIII (97.20 percent) are yet to complete their ERB hearings.

Comelec earlier explained that the applications filed during the voter registration period are subject to approval or denial by the respective ERB.
