Bianca Lapus reacts to rape allegations against Vhong Navarro

Bianca Lapus, Vhong Navarro's former partner, is not at all worried with the Court of Appeals (CA) granting Deniece Cornejo’s appeal to reopen the rape case she filed against the TV host.

Bianca believes that, in the end, the truth will prevail.

Posting a photo of her with Vhong and their son, she tweeted: "Standing by this GOOD MAN. Not perfect but definitely a good kind hearted man. Otherwise it won't be easy for me to become friends and co parent with him. The truth will prevail. Walang iwanan."

The former actress also shared a quote that read: "When you destroy someone’s life with lies, take it as a loan, it will come back to you with interest.”

Earlier, the The Department of Justice (DOJ) said it will comply with the orders of the CA and file charges against Vhong.

Prior, the CA, in a decision released to the media on July 31, said it was erroneous for the DOJ to deny Deniece’s petition for review on the ground that her statements in the complaint-affidavits are inconsistent and incredible.

It said the preliminary investigation conducted by DOJ is not the venue to determine who is guilty or innocent.

It stressed that issues of credibility should be adjudged during the trial proper.

Vhong’s legal counsel, Atty. Alma Mallonga, in an interview with Teleradyo said they will file a motion for reconsideration in response to the CA's decision.
