Two notorious drug pushers nabbed in Mabalacat City

PAMPANGA – Police cornered two notorious drug pushers who yielded 130 grams of shabu worth P884,000 during a buy-bust operation in Brgy. Dau, Mabalacat City on Wednesday afternoon, August 3.

In his report to Pampanga Provincial Police Office acting director Colonel Alvin Ruby Consolacion, Lieutenant Colonel Protom Guevarra said the raiders arrested Jemaimah Datu, 31, and Saddam Bertudan, 27, during the anti-illegal drug operation at around 5:40 p.m.

Both suspects are listed in the database of drug personalities.

The suspects are now under the custody of Philippine National Police pending the formal filing of charges for violation of Section 5, 26, and 11 of Art. II of R.A 9165.

Meanwhile, a PDEA staff said that the province of Pampanga is becoming the transshipment of drugs.

“Drug transshipment, daanan po ng drugs,” PDEA told Manila Bulletin.

“Nasa sentro po kasi ang Pampanga at saka may airport din po dito. Kung napansin niyo marami kami nai-intercept sa Clark airport (Pampanga is in the center; there is airport here. If you notice we intercept many (contrabands) in Clark Airport),” PDEA added.

The x-ray machines at the Clark Airport are high-tech.

“Meron din po kami Rigaku progeny na donated na US DEA na malaking tulong sa pagdetect ng drugs (We have Rigaku progeny donated by the US DEA and it helps us a lot in detecting drugs),” the PDEA added.
