Police catch Passi City, Iloilo’s No. 1 most wanted


ILOILO CITY – Police have arrested the No. 1 most wanted person in Passi City, Iloilo.

Authorities identified the suspect as Ronald Benesio Porcal, a 41-year-old resident of Barangay Jaguimitan, Passi City.

Porcal is facing charges of rape and act of lasciviousness.

He was arrested on a warrant issued by Judge Vicente Villa Go of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 68 in Dumangas, Iloilo dated July 20.

The hierarchy of the Police Regional Office (PRO)-6 lauded units of the Iloilo Police Provincial Office (IPPO) for Porcal’s arrest.

PRO-6 director Police Brig. Gen. Flynn Dongbo cited the Passi Component City Police Station and IPPO 2nd Iloilo Provincial Mobile Force Company.

“Our police units are exerting all our efforts to go after wanted persons,” said Dongbo in a statement.

Porcal has been turned over to the RTC Branch 68.

The court set Porcal’s bail at P200,000 for rape and P108,000 for act of lasciviousness.
