New 'Maid in Malacañang' teaser released

There's a new teaser for "Maid In Malacañang."

In it, Bulletin Entertainment columnist and actress Giselle Sanchez was introduced among cast members.

In her column, Giselle explained why she accepted the "most controversial role."

According to Giselle, she has always wanted to do a project with the film's writer and director Darryl Yap, relating she's a "big fan."

"I must say, Direk Darryl Yap is indeed the most brilliant director of his time," she said.

As to her role in the film, she said, "For legal purposes, I will not mention any name but will refer to my role as 'her character' as I do play one of the characters of a movie."

Meanwhile, in another VinCentiments post, Darryl revealed that "Maid in Malacañang" is supposed to be a trilogy.

He shared: "Nung kino-conceive ang 'Maid in Malacañang,' it's actually a 'MiM,' 'MoM,' and 'MaM.' It's a trilogy. 'MiM' is 'Maid in Malacañang.' 'MoM' is a 'Martyr Or Murderer.' That 'Martyr Or Murderer,' sino ang pumatay sa unang dilawan. And yung 'MaM,' 'Mabuhay aloha Mabuhay.' It will tackle naman the life of Marcoses away from the Philippines; in Hawaii and when they get back again in the Philippines."

"It's actually a trilogy but as I see it with all my mga commitments, parang nalalabuan ako na mangyayari yung second and third kasi sobrang dami kong engagements and commitments," he added. "Though I told Senator Imee (Marcos) if they wish to pursue it, I can write it but definitely I cannot direct it anymore. But maybe the success of 'Maid in Malacañang,' you know, can turn the tide to us doing the last two."
