TV host-actress Maine Mendoza couldn't be more grateful that her future mother-in-law, veteran star Sylvia Sanchez, has warmly welcomed her into their family.
Recall that Sylvia's son, actor-turn-politician Arjo Atayde, recently asked for Maine's hand in marriage.
After the proposal, Sylvia thanked Maine for loving her son.
"Love you Nak," Sylvia told Maine. "I promise that I will take care and love you as my own daughter."
Maine, on her part, also thanked her for the sweet message.
"Thank you so much po, tita," she replied.
According to Maine, Sylvia has been so "kind," "understanding," and "supportive" from the beginning. And for that, she's "thankful."
"Kay Tito Art, saks lang. Char lang po, love you boooth!," she added in jest, referring to Sylvia's husband Arturo Atayde.
Aside from Sylvia, Arjo's sister Ria also reacted to her brother's engagement.
