New model arriving in Honda 3S shops nationwide
Honda Philippines, Inc., (HPI), the No.1 motorcycle manufacturer in the country, brings a much-needed update to one of its most popular models, the Wave. Just unveiled was the all-new Wave RSX, coming to Honda dealerships nationwide.
The newest underbone offers sportier design and better fuel efficiency. The Wave RSX boasts of a stunning new set of sticker designs. It comes with a sporty meter panel that completes the look of the motorcycle.
The Wave RSX also makes the switch from a carburetor to a more efficient Programmed Fuel Injection (PGM-Fi) system. This technology makes it more fuel efficient, capable of up to 67.8 Km/L based on the World Motorcycle Test Cycle Method.
Powering the Wave RSX is a four-stroke, SOHC, air-cooled 109cc Engine. It has maximum power of 6.46-kW at 7,500 rpm and a max torque of 8.70-Nm at 6,000 rpm.
The Wave RSX rides on a telescopic front suspension system and twin rear shocks for greater comfort. It’s brought to a stop with front hydraulic disc (for the disc type variant).
As for security, the Wave RSX also includes a Secured Key Shutter. It also has an Automatic Headlight On (AHO) feature. Other improvements include a bigger U-Box and full chain case.

The all-new Wave RSX will be available in three colors and two variants. The drum brake variant is priced at ₱61,900.00, and comes in a choice of Phantom Dark Silver Metallic or Candy Caribbean Blue Sea. It will be available in August 2022. The disc brake variant is priced at ₱64,900.00, in While Candy Rosy Red, available in September 2022.
