The Filipinas U18 have yet to secure a win and already suffered two straight losses since yielding 4-0 against Australia in the opener.

Group B leaders Australia and Myanmar, for their part, advanced to the knockout stage and set up a semifinals showdown on July 29, Friday.

The Philippines, still ranked No. 3 in Group B, will face Malaysia for its last match in the group stage to formally close its campaign.

Against Myanmar, Jonalyn Lucban scored the lone goal for the Filipinas at the 87th minute but wasn't enough to salvage a victory.

Hnin Pwint Aye and Su Myat Soe found the back of the net at the 33rd and 37th minutes, respectively, before the latter iced the match with a late goal within the extended minutes.
