World Vision Philippines Resource Development Director Jun Godornes thanked Share Shoes during the program launch

Also present during the event was World Vision Philippines, represented by its Resource Development Director Jun Godornes. He said that shoes from Share Shoes program will greatly boost the morale of World Vision kids as they start to attend face-to-face classes for the upcoming school year.

The SM Store President Chelo Monasterio said Share Shoes is in line with SM Founder Henry Sy Sr.’s vision where Filipinos, especially children, have access to a decent pair of shoes.

Share Shoes is the signature community program of The SM Store with the goal of providing shoes to kids who need them most. Since 2018, Share Shoes has already provided more than a million shoes to kids from Metro Manila to last-mile communities around the country. Early this year, The SM Store and SM Foundation partnered with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and Caritas Philippines to distribute more than 300,000 pairs of shoes nationwide.
