The Supreme Court (SC) has started receiving reports on damages inflicted on court houses by the 7.3-magnitude earthquake that hit Luzon provinces early Wednesday morning, July 27.

So far, the SC had ordered the closure of the offices of the Malabon City regional trial court (RTC), the Hall of Justice in Urdaneta City, and the offices of Branches 1 and 2 of the municipal trial court in cities (MTCC) in San Fernando City in La Union.

The SC has not received any report on court personnel injured during the earthquake that hit several areas after the start of work hours in government offices.

SC Spokesperson Brian Keith F. Hosaka said the public will updated on the closures of court offices or halls of justice in the earthquake-affected areas.
