Local police receive two patrol cars, four motorcycles, radio communication from Tiaong LGU

TIAONG, Quezon – Supporting the police in the performance of their tasks might encourage them to act more to secure and protect the populace.

Thus said Mayor Arjay Mea after Tiaong municipality gave the local police here with two patrol cars, four motorcycles and radio communications.

Mayor Arjay Mea told the Manila Bulletin that the said equipment is to support the Tiaong PNP in the enforcement of law and faster response in the prevention of crimes.

Mea, on his first term, would like to create an environment for sound economic development which he said is vital to invite investors to put businesses in this town.

He said this will only happen if the investors are secure and protected.

Tiaong town is a gateway of Laguna and Batangas, which are considered industrial provinces in Region 4A.

Mea added that he turned over the said equipment to Police Regional Office 4A director Brig. Gen. Antonio Yarra.

The communication equipment alone is worth P1 million, and to be distributed to Police Community Precincts (PCP), and police stations.

He is expecting that in his first 100 days, the peace and order situation in the town would be better than ever.
