MB Daily News Update: PBBM deliver’s first SONA


Less than a month after taking his oath as the country’s 17th Chief Executive, President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. will deliver his first State of the Nation Address (SONA) on Monday, July 25, 2022, amid an atmosphere of hope and heavy expectations.

A shooting incident marred the graduation rites of the Ateneo Law School at the Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU) campus in Katipunan, Quezon City. Initial reports showed that a lady mayor, who was attending her daughter’s graduation, was killed, together with an ADMU security guard.

The Department of Education (DepEd) released its guidelines for enrollment for academic schoolyear 2022-2023.

The Department of Health (DOH) also gave the assurance that the country was ready for any outbreak of the monkeypox virus.
