MB Daily News Update: PBBM deliver's first SONA

Less than a month after taking his oath as the country’s 17^th Chief Executive, President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. will deliver his first State of the Nation Address (SONA) on Monday, July 25, 2022, amid an atmosphere of hope and heavy expectations.

A shooting incident marred the graduation rites of the Ateneo Law School at the Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU) campus in Katipunan, Quezon City. Initial reports showed that a lady mayor, who was attending her daughter’s graduation, was killed, together with an ADMU security guard.

The Department of Education (DepEd) released its guidelines for enrollment for academic schoolyear 2022-2023.

The Department of Health (DOH) also gave the assurance that the country was ready for any outbreak of the monkeypox virus.
