The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) has reshuffled another batch of 13 key field officials to give more impetus to its P2.4 trillion tax collection campaign.
It was the second major personnel changes carried out by BIR Commissioner Lilia Catris Guillermo since she was appointed to led the bureau early this month.
She also implemented the policy of rotation assignments every three years to prevent fraternization with taxpayers.
Those who were given new assignments were Regional Directors Rozil R. Lozares from Legaspi City to the project management implementation service, Glen A. Geraldino from Cebu City to Legaspi City, Antonio Jonathan G. Jaminola from Calasiao, Pangasinan to Pampanga, Douglas A. Rufino from from Pampanga to Calasiao, Pangasinan.
Makati Assistant Regional Director (ARD) Emmanuel S. Ferrer was promoted regional director of Cebu City; Cagayan de Oro City ARD Dondanon A. Galera transferred to to South NCR; Cebu ARD Edith A. Calipusan to Makati City; South NCR ARD Saripudin M. Bantog to Manila, Manila CRD Eric P. Diesto to Cebu City.
Lawyer Sixto C. Dy Jr., chief-of-staff of deputy commissioner for operations to head revenue executive assistant, Rufino C. Cantaros, Jr., from chief assessment division of Cavite-Batangas-Mindoro-Romblon revenue region to chief-of-staff office of the deputy commissioner for operations.
Revenue District Officers Rufo B. Ranario of East Makati and Narciso T. Laguerta of CentraL Laguna were promoted to ARD Cagayan de Oro City and Laguna-Quezon-Marinduque revenue regions, respectively.
