Honda Philippines, Inc., (HPI) takes one of its most-coveted models up a notch with the launch of the new Click160. The new ride model will be available in all Honda Dealerships nationwide on July 26, 2022.
The Click160 is the successor to the highly successful Click150i. The all-new Click160 features a new sporty design that emulates larger, more premium scooters. It offers a larger engine to match, offering commuters and fans more power as they make their way in and around town. Like its predecessor, the Click160 still offers agile handling for convenient daily commuting and leisure trips.
The most noticeable change is the Click160’s more angular bodywork paired with matte brown alloy wheels. It complements the new headlight and taillight design. It’s paired with a seat that is wide and made more comfortable especially for longer journeys. Other design changes include 3D emblems, and a new sporty muffler design.
It’s built on an Enhanced Smart Architecture Frame, designed to feel lighter but stronger. Keeping it aloft is a set of telescopic front forks and a unit swingarm at the rear. Bringing it to a stop is the Combined Brake System (CBS) that controls both front and rear brakes with just one lever.There’s also a park brake lock to keep it secure when parked.
Powering it is a new generation 157cc, four-valve, liquid-cooled engine with Honda’s eSP+. This new engine produces max power of 11.3 kW at 8,500 rpm and a max torque of 13.8 Nm at 7,000 rpm. The engine is governed by a PGM-FI System (programmed fuel injection) for better fuel efficiency. It’s been tested to average 46.7 km/Lbased on the World Motorcycle Test Cycle Method. Finally, improving its efficiency is an Idling Stop System (ISS) that turns the engine off at stoplights and restarts it quickly with a twist of the throttle.
There’s no shortage of convenience features either. Starting it up is easy with the Honda Smart Key System which includes an answer-back and anti-theft alarm feature. It also comes with a full digital panel meter for easy-to-read trip information. Under the seat is alarge luggage box where you can store your personal items. There’s also a USB Charger to keep your phone charged up while on the go.
The all-new CLICK160 will be available in three colors: Matte Pearl Crater White, Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic, and Matte Solar Red Metallic. All are offered at a suggested retail price of P116,900.
