Malayan Insurance launches new full service website

Malayan Insurance Co. Inc. has launched a new full-service website where clients can explore, purchase and receive their insurance policies in real-time.

Aside from the new www.malayan.com website’s simpler, straightforward, and intuitive design, the one-stop-shop experience allows clients to glide through real-time product quotation, straight-through purchase, and online filing of claims.

Paolo Y. Abaya, president and chief executive officer of Malayan Insurance said that the website will be a smooth walk from the time they land on the homepage to the moment they decide to make a purchase or file a claim.

“We want to make the process easier, secure and convenient for them. Through the launch of our new site, we hope to reach more Filipinos who are in need of good quality and value adding personal non-life insurance,” he added.

Guided by the trends of the market’s digitization, the website observes best practices in cyber, data, and payment security.

These include globally-accepted cybersecurity mechanics, industry-standard cloud hostings, full scope data privacy, and a secure online payment mechanism utilizing card authentication and 3D-Secure features.

Abaya stressed that Malayan Insurance has been striving to have improved visibility and accessibility in the digital space. This move is likewise in response to the call of the national government and the market toward digitization.
