In the recent media conference for her latest project “Lyric and Beat”, Andrea Brillantes gave her reaction to the new tandem of Seth Fedelin and Francine Diaz.
Seth is Andrea's former real and reel partner. Together with Kyle Echarri, they were the OG members of the Gold Squad that starred in the hit teleseryes “Kadenang Ginto” and “Huwag Kang Mangamba”.
But in showbiz, as they say, nothing is permanent. That's why fellow media colleagues waited for Andrea to answer the issue.
“I am happy for them and of course. I am happy for FranSeth fans kasi they’ve waited for this for a long time, and I’m happy na nabigay ‘yung request nila and I wish na sana maging okay and maging successful. As in wala akong ill feeling sa kanila both and ayun sana maging masaya and alagaan ninyo si Xyrille kasi kasama niyo ang beshywap ko si Xyrille. I am very happy kasi ito ‘yung comeback niya, ito ‘yung parang first FranSeth, tapos comeback ni Xyrille. So I am very excited about their project," Andrea said.
The actress added that the work and personal relationships between them is always treasured and will always be remembered. “We spent more than two years of working na po and more than two years doon parang halos everyday, ‘Kadenang Ginto’ po tsaka of course locked in pa po, mas everyday pa po ‘yun, so siyempre wala naman pong bago sa pagkikita namin, hindi naman kami parang na kidnap na parang ‘uy hello kamusta ka’ alam ko rin naman ang whereabouts niya kasi inevitable ‘yun e, kasi nag IG ako nag Tiktok ako, and ‘yung mga fans ng SethDrea of course tina-tag nila ako, and we are in the same industry,” she said.
Andrea also shared that she is aware of all the issues sorroundung her and her former leading man Seth. “People talk, people will say something about me, about him na nakakarating sa amin kasi we have mutual friends so, hindi naman na talaga isolated kumbaga sa amin, and sobrang inevitable talaga na hindi naming alam kung ano ang nangyayari sa sa isa’t isa kasi nga nasa iisang indusrtriya kami. Ano po kasi, ive been in the industry since parang 8 years old ako, and hindi lang naman ito ‘yung first time ko na may nangyari na tapos makaka work ko, ang dami na pong experience ko na dati na bully ako sa set, ‘yung mga ganun, pero gagawin ko pa rin, at ipapakita ko pa rin ang dapat na eksena,” Andrea revealed.

One unforgettable showbiz charity event that we joined a few days ago was an out-of-town trip to a center for rehabilitation and shelter for sexually abused minors somewhere in Cavite. This is through the kindness of Ronel Ybañez, producer and head of the Asian Golden Icon Awards.
The shelter presently houses 33 kids ages 4 to 17. Ybanez and his staff members prepared food and gifts (bags and school supplies) for the kids. They also received free medical checkups. In our interview, Ronel said that this is his way of giving back to the community.
“Lahat tayo dumaan sa pagiging bata. Ito ay maliit lamang na paraan para matulungan natin ang ilan sa kanila at maabot nila ang kanilang mga pangarap sa buhay," Ronel said.
