Korean stars Yoo Ah-in, Go Kyung-Pyo, Lee Kyoo-hyung, Park Ju-hyun and Ong Seong-wu will be starring in the car action movie “Seoul Vibe” that will be released on Netflix next month.
“Seoul Vibe” will premiere on Aug. 26 and it tells the story of the investigation of a VIP’s slush fund during the 1988 Olympics by a crew called “Sanggye-dong Supreme Team.”
Netflix released a poster for the movie, showing “88”-shaped skid marks that refers to the 1988 setting of the film.
“Seoul Vibe” will showcase classic vehicles from 1988 together with trendy contemporary music.
In the movie, the “Sanggye-dong Supreme Team” is composed of the best drifter Dong-wook (Yoo Ah-in of “Hellbound”), the sentimental DJ John Woo (by Go Kyung-Pyo of “Reply 1988”), navigator Bok-nam (Lee Kyoo-hyung of “All of us Are Dead”), versatile biker Yoon-hee (Park Ju-hyun of “Extracurricular”) and Joon-gi (Ong Seong-wu).
They will go up against main money mover Director Lee (Kim Sung-kyun of “Reply 1988”), and the right hand of the VIP President Kang (Moon So-ri).
Prosecutor Ahn (Oh Jung-se of “It's Okay to Not Be Okay”) will conduct the investigation together with together the “Sanggye-dong Supreme Team” under the supervision of Chief Prosecutor (Jung Woong-in of “Prison Playbook”).
“Seoul Vibe’ is directed by Moon Hyun-sung.
