Two notorious drug peddlers nabbed in Mabalacat City; P646,000 worth of shabu seized

PAMPANGA – Joint elements of Mabalacat City Police, Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit-Pampanga Police Provincial Office and 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company Mabalacat Patrol arrested two drug personalities during a buy-bust operation in Brgy. Duquit, Mabalacat City in the early hours of Tuesday, July 19.

The suspects were identified as Anthony Quiazon @NIKKi (HVI), 33, of Bagong Anyo St., Brgy. Duquit, Mabalacat City, and Cecile Dela Cruz of Ilang-ilang St., Pineda Subd., Brgy. Dau, Mabalacat City.

Both suspects were listed in the database of drug personalities.

The raiders confiscated five heat-sealed plastic sachets containing an estimated 95 grams of shabu with a Dangerous Drug Board value of P646,000.

Also found from the suspects were one piece of P1000 bill (buy-bust money), body bag, digital weighing scale, one car, P456 cash in different denominations, and a cellphone.

The suspects are now under the custody of PNP whileappropriate charges for violation of Section 5, 26 and 11 of Art. II of R.A 9165 are being prepared for filing at the Mabalacat City Prosecutor's Office.

"As we continue to wage our unremitting fight against illegal drugs, more operations are being launched, and we will not stop until Mabalacat City is drug-free" the chief of police here said.
