P235,000 shabu, marijuana confiscated in Taguig, Muntinlupa 


The police confiscated suspected shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) and marijuana worth nearly P235,000 in anti-criminality operations in Taguig and Muntinlupa on July 18 and 19.

Through “Oplan Galugad,” the Taguig police’s Substation 3 personnel arrested two individuals on Lansones Street, Panam Village in Barangay Pinagsama on July 18. The suspects were identified as Jonathan Biso, 32, and Tracy Anne Bersuela, 20.

The police seized two plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing 9.3 grams with a value of P63,240.

On Duhat Street corner Buendia Street in Barangay Tunasan, the Muntinlupa police arrested Eric Ace Ramos, 26.

Ramos was flagged down for not wearing a helmet and a mandatory search led to the recovery of two plastic bags and one eco bag containing dried leaves and fruiting tops suspected to be marijuana, weighing about 800 grams with a value of P96,000.

In Barangay Lower Bicutan, Taguig, the police’s Substation 10 personnel arrested three suspects for alleged illegal drugs.

The suspects were identified as Teody Carandang, 37; Aileen Alano, 38; and Rodel Paghubasan, 29.

The police seized three plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing 11.12 grams worth P75,616.

“I would like to commend the southern metro cops for these accomplishments. This shows that we here in the southern metropolis are continuing our efforts in eradicating illegal drugs in the streets.” said Southern Police District director Brig. Gen. Jimili Macaraeg.
