The Far Eastern University (FEU) inked an agreement with Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC) and Darussalam Assets to establish the JPMC College of Health Sciences (JPMC-CHS), the first health care learning institution of its kind in Brunei.
The signing of this joint venture agreement was held on Thursday, July 14. Meanwhile, JPMC-CHS will be located along Jalan Ong Sum Ping in Bandar Seri Begawan.
While it is expected to be “fully operational” in 2023, the institution is set to offer basic nursing programs beginning October 2022.
FEU vowed to “support manpower requirements” of the institution as it aims to deploy instructors and lecturers each semester to Brunei depending on the schedule of courses.
