BTS’ Suga performs at Psy’s concert 


BTS member Suga made a surprise appearance at Korean rapper Psy’s summer concert held on July 16. 

Psy held his “Summer Swag 2022” concert at the Jamsil Olympic Stadium in Seoul that drew thousands of people.

Suga emerged on stage and performed the song “That That” with Psy. “That That,” which features Suga, is the lead track of Psy’s new album “Psy 9th,” which was released on April 29.

“That That” debuted at No. 80 on the May 14-dated Billboard Hot 100 chart, No. 1 on World Digital Song Sales, No. 2 on Billboard Global Excluding US, No. 3 on Hot Trending Songs and No. 5 on Billboard Global 200. 

The performance of Psy and Suga drew cheers from the estimated 30,000 spectators who filled the stadium. 

At the end of the performance, Suga dropped the mic, shook hands with Psy and hugged him, and bid the audience goodbye.

Suga posted photos on Instagram showing him at the waiting room and backstage at Psy’s concert.

Meanwhile, Psy celebrated the 10th anniversary of his iconic song “Gangnam Style, which catapulted him to global fame. 

The song was released on July 15, 2012 and its music video has set records. To date, the “Gangnam Style” music video has garnered 4.48 billion views. 

“Gangnam Style” ranked No. 5 on YouTube’s all-time most viewed music videos.
