The Police Regional Office (PRO)-3 (Central Luzon) said that KMP was identified as a legal front of the Communist Party of the Philippines-New People’s Army (CPP-NPA).

PRO-3 director Police Brig. Gen. Matthew Baccay said that the efforts of the 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company, Nueva Ecija Police Provincial Office (NEPPO), and different police units and the Philippine Army resulted in the breakaway of LMB members last Friday in Llanera, Nueva Ecija.

Baccay  said that the Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Philippine Army are optimistic that more groups will follow them.

He reminded society to be cautious of organizations linked to the CPP-NPA as their strategy and deceptive nature will infiltrate and destroy them.
