Former Jaro Archbishop Angel Lagdameo will be laid to rest on July 19.
In a Facebook post, the Archdiocese of Jaro Commission on Social Communications said the funeral Mass will be held at 9 a.m. at the Jaro Metropolitan Cathedral with Bishop Jose Romeo Lazo and other bishops and priests concelebrating.
Burial rites will then be held inside the Jaro Cathedral.
Meanwhile, those planning to give flowers to the late prelate are urged to just make a financial contribution to the sick priests fund of the archdiocese.
"You can also send your donations and gifts in Jaro Cathedral Parish Office," read the announcement of the archdiocese.
Lagdameo died on July 8 in Iloilo City at the age of 81.
He was a former president of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines (CBCP).
