Ruffa Gutierrez shares trailer for controversial film 'Maid In Malacanang'

The trailer for the controversial movie "Maid In Malacanang" has been released!

On Instagram, actress Ruffa Gutierrez shared the first official trailer for the upcoming dramedy film about the last 72 hours of the Marcoses in Malacanan Palace.

Ruffa accompanied the trailer with a caption from former First Lady Imelda Romualdez Marcos. It read: "The body ages. But the spirit does not. And if the spirit is fed and energized with the right, beautiful and good values, the spirit will never get old. - Imelda Romualdez Marcos"

The movie will be show in cinemas worldwide beginning Aug. 3. It is written and directed by Darryl Yap under Viva Entertainment.

Celebrities and netizens congratulated Ruffa and the cast for the stunning trailer. Some comments:

In the movie, Ruffa will play former first lady Imelda Romualdez Marcos; Cesar Montano, the late President Ferdinand Marcos; Cristine Reyes, Sen. Imee Marcos; Diego Loyzaga, Bongbong Marcos; and Ella Cruz, Irene Marcos. Also joining them are Karla Estrada, Elizabeth Oropesa; and Beverly Salviejo.
