Senator Sonny Angara’s daughter’s project is simple: effecting positive change through the pages of a book, with the aim of sharing the value of literacy and encourage better reading habits among Filipino children.

Thus, she is hopping on a book truck/mobile library and traveling across her family’s hometown in Aurora to share books and stories with others, particularly in Barangays Reserva and Zubali in Baler and in Brgy. Sta. Lucia, Maria Aurora.

Target beneficiaries of Angara’s “Pages of HappInes” are children of fisherfolks and farmers; kids—also adults—who are struggling to read.

This journey will not just add to Ines’ own storybook, but will hopefully also encourage others to appreciate the pages in their own life stories.
