'Stranger Things 4' viewed more than one billion hours on Netflix

“Stranger Things 4” has set another record on streaming platform Netflix by being viewed more than one billion hours.

Episodes 8 and 9 were released on July 1 and according to Netflix, “Stranger Things 4” topped the weekly Global Top 10 chart for June 27 to July 3 with 301.28 million hours viewed.

This made “Stranger Things 4” the most viewed title on Netflix for the period and entered the top 10 in 93 countries.

Overall, “Stranger Things 4” has been viewed 1.15 billion hours and is the No. 1 most popular title on the English TV list based on the first 28 days on Netflix.

In addition, “Stranger Things” seasons 1 to 3 also entered the top 10 for the week.

Here are the most viewed English shows on Netflix from June 27 to July 3:
