Could this photo be another sign of changes in the local pageant scene?

Just recently, Miss World Philippines National Director Arnold Vegafria shared a photo of his meeting with Miss Grand International President Nawat Itsaragrisil on social media.

On Instagram, Arnold said that he wants to collaborate with Nawat soon.

His full caption read: "It’s good to finally catch up with Miss Grand International President Nawat Itsaragrisil @nawat.tv.

"The respected businessman, former talk show host, and pageant mogul is always brimming with infectious energy and positive vibes, and I was lucky to have spent quality time with him during his recent visit to Manila.

"It was refreshing to hear his thoughts on the recent happenings in the global pageant scene, (including our very own Miss World Philippines 2022 pageant), and I hope to collaborate with him soon," said Arnold.

Fans quickly got the impression that the MGI Philippine franchise might be transferred to MWP anytime soon. For now, the MGI national franchise belongs to the Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc.

"Get it @arnold_vegafria then make it the 3rd crown "
