Tricycle driver held for shabu in Pangasinan

CALASIAO, Pangasinan – A 31-year-old tricycle driver was arrested for possession of suspected shabu in a checkpoint in Barangay San Miguel here Saturday, July 2.

Police identified the suspect as Roden Aguilar of Perez Market Site, Dagupan City.

Recovered from the suspect was a sealed transparent sachet containing shabu, two open transparent plastic sachet with shabu residue, and aluminum foil strip.

Meanwhile, police in San Carlos City, this province arrested Alwin Phillip Ramos of Barangay Songkoy here after a heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet of suspected shabu was found in his possession.

Ramos’ Honda XRM motorcycle was taken by police into custody.

Aguilar and Ramos face charges for violation of Article 151 of the Revised Penal Code for resisting arrest and Republic Act No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002.
