The newly-installed Vice President has earlier shared plans to open satellite offices for Filipinos in the far provinces of Visayas and Mindanao.

“Sa aking unang buong araw bilang bise presidente, nagbukas po tayo ng mga satellite office sa iba’t-ibang bahagi ng bansa upang matulungan ang ating mga kababayan na magkaroon ng madali at agarang access sa mga serbisyong mula sa (In my first day as vice president, we opened satellite offices in different parts of the country to help our people to have easy and immediate access to the services from the) Office of the Vice President,” Duterte said in a Facebook post.

The offices are located in Dagupan (Region 1), Cebu (Region VII), Tacloban (Region VIII), Zamboanga (Region IX), Davao (Region XI), and Tandag in Surigao del Sur (Region XIII).

The photos also showed the blessing of the offices.

The largest of these offices seemed to be the one in Escario Central in Camputhaw, Cebu City, which is currently the Visayas Satellite Office.

The two-floor building has two large images of Duterte in front with the words “Tibay at Puso (Durability and Heart).”
