Tap dancing for kids at Sunshine Palace

Make the most out of your kids' summer break and let them have fun while exercising with Tap Dance course for kids at Sunshine Place. Aside from developing their social skills because they'll be working along with other kids their age, tap dancing also improves the muscles, mind, and memory. Learn the basics of dance footwork through a mix of old and modern song sequences.

This course is open to kids aged from five to 12 years old. Classes starts on July 2, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. — 3:00 p.m. The eight session class will be conducted by Mr. Danny Vinculado.

Vinculado, has been working with Sunshine Place for more than five years with expertise in Chair Dancing, Jazz, Folk and Contemporary.

He started dancing at a young age with the Ramon Obusan Folkloric Dance Group, a world-renowned group representing the Philippines in different countries. He widened his knowledge and interest in dance through studying Ballet, Jazz, Folk and Contemporary dance in the Philippines and abroad. He became part of the Metropolitan Dance Theater and Hotlegs as a choreographer, and has been associated with Bodytalk, Dance Masters, and Hamstrings.

His skills led him to become TV commercials and theater plays choreographic director. He is currently working as a dance facilitator at GMA’s Artist Center, and jazz instructor /choreographer at Arts in the City.
